Pricing Policy

  1. All our prices are quoted in GBP Sterling inclusive of VAT when applicable (or net prices outside the EEC). We do not charge VAT for the Channel Islands however varying charges will apply for countries outside of the UK. Please ensure the correct country is selected when placing your order otherwise VAT will be charged.
  2. You will be charged for the prices and currency for the country that your goods are delivered to. At the point of checkout the price of items and the taxes applied may change when you submit the delivery details.
  3. Please note customers outside the EU might be subject to domestic import and duty taxes. Please check with your local authorities before placing your order to avoid any unpleasant surprises. Dance Direct cannot be held responsible for these charges and it is the responsibility of the customer to determine whether they will be required to pay such duties and taxes. All goods sold on this website are excluding any import duties and/or taxes outside the EEC.
  4. In the event of price changes with our suppliers, we may find it necessary to adjust our prices accordingly.
  5. Unless specified to the contrary quotations in respect of price are made by the Seller without obligation and are subject to alteration without notice. The Seller may give notice to the Buyer at any time up to 3 days before delivery of any increase in price provided that the Buyer may cancel this contract in writing within 3 days of any such notice by the Seller.

Promotions And Discounts

  1. Multibuy offers such as ‘3 for 2’ apply to selected items only, with the cheapest item being free. This offer applies to full price items only.
  2. Dance Direct reserves the right to change or withdraw any offer, promotion or discount at any time with immediate effect.
  3. All promotional codes apply to Retail Accounts only, unless otherwise specified during the time of promotion.
  4. Promotional Codes cannot be used in conjunction with any other offers or clearance items.
  5. All clearance and sale items are subject to stock availability.
  6. Clearance prices only apply to selected sizes and colour waves, they do not necessarily apply to whole ranges or lines unless otherwise specified.


  1. We accept payment via all major credit and debit cards, and via Paypal.
  2. Please ensure you have sufficient funds in your account before placing your order.
  3. When processing payments, all credit and debit cardholders are subject to validation checks and authorisation by the card issuer. If the card issuer refuses payment authorisation Dance Direct does not accept responsibility for any delays or items unable to be delivered as a result.
  4. For all orders using Paypal as payment method, the full amount including delivery costs will be debited directly from your account when the order is placed, before your items are dispatched.
  5. If the items that you’ve ordered are out of stock we will cancel your order and issue a refund to you.

Orders And Availability

  1. There is no minimum spend threshold when you order from us.
  2. Your order is subject to stock availability. In some instances we may dispatch your items separately, with any out of stock items being placed on a backorder to be dispatched once stock is replenished.
  3. Limited edition items are subject to availability and since there are only small quantities of each size available we cannot guarantee stock levels of specific sizes and colourways at the time of placing your order.
  4. Items may become out of stock on a temporary or permanent basis, or may be discontinued entirely. When stock becomes unavailable for whatever reason, we will endeavour to update our website accordingly in a timely manner, however this is not always possible before orders have been placed on an item with a stock issue.
  5. If a Revolution costume is showing out of stock online we will keep this item on backorder until ready for delivery. Please contact us if you wish to cancel an item otherwise it will be dispatched to you.
  6. In the event we are temporarily sold out of an item you ordered, we reserve the right to cancel it or replace it with an alternative product unless otherwise instructed.


  1. All stated delivery times are approximate. Dance Direct does not guarantee delivery time and cannot accept liability for late deliveries. Postage refunds will not be given in this instance.
  2. Please note that we are closed on Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Year’s Day and Bank Holidays so no orders will be processed, dispatched or delivered on these days.
  3. Customers outside the European Union may be subject to domestic import and duty tax. It is the customers responsibility to ascertain whether they are required to pay these fees upon delivery. (Please refer to section 1.2 and 1.3 under our ‘Pricing Policy’)
  4. Free delivery applies to UK orders with a value of £50 or more, excluding the costs of delivery. This will be applied automatically at the checkout when your order value reaches or exceeds £50.


  1. Items being returned must be sent back to us within 14 days of the delivery date. We reserve the right to refuse any returns received more than 14 days after the delivery date.
  2. We will only accept returned items that are in a new re-saleable condition, in the original packaging with all the labels still attached.
  3. All items being returned for a refund must be sent postage paid. We recommend using the Royal Mail Signed For™ service to ensure your parcel arrives safely to us. Dance Direct accepts no responsibility for mislaid returns parcels.
  4. Under the UK trading standards you are entitled to change your mind about a purchase within 7 days from receipt of goods (UK delivery addresses only), and you will be refunded for standard postage costs. Cancellation of contract does not apply to partial orders being returned and must be notified in writing or by email to sales@dancedirect.com. Only standard delivery is refundable.
  5. We reserve the right to use your original card details to make a payment debit or credit as per your return instructions.
  6. Printed items may fade with repeated washing. We recommend these items are washed by hand following the care instructions on the garment.
  7. All tights, underwear, books, DVD 's, CD 's and special orders are a final sale. This does not affect your statutory rights.
  8. Please allow a minimum of 10 working days from the date that we receive your returned item(s) for us to process your return.

Account Data And Contact

  1. We will contact you for purposes relating to your order, using the contact details that you supply at the time of registering your account with us.
  2. It is your responsibility to notify us with any changes to your details, such as your address and contact telephone number.
  3. We will occasionally email you with promotional offers and information regarding new products if you opted in to receive emails from us at the time of registering your account. If you no longer wish to receive these then you can unsubscribe at any time by clicking the link at the bottom of the email.
  4. Your account login information is confidential to you and we do not have access to your password. If you have forgotten your password or wish to change it then you can do so on the login page.
  5. We will occasionally send marketing materials such as our latest catalogue and flyers to your postal address. If you no longer wish to receive these then please notify us by emailing sales@dancedirect.com or calling customer services on 01793 822838
  6. Dance Direct is committed to protecting your online privacy and take the management of any personal identifiable information very seriously. We will not disclose or sell your personal information to third parties unless we have your permission to do so.
